Ken Blackwell says he "accidently" bought stock in Diebold
I'm listening to our local progressive radio station, and they reported that Blackwell says in today's Cleveland Plain Dealer that he accidently bought stock in Diebold.

>> "OOPS!"

Bush inadvertently ordered the secret surveillance of thousands of American citizens.

4. So if I accidently give myself a million dollar a day raise at the bank,
that is OK? How about if I accidently run over everyone I don't like. Do I get to get away with that?

6. No problem. It was an accident
After you got caught, you didn't mean to do it. As a republican, this is completely acceptable behavior

5. Hey!! It could happen!!
I have a very plausible explanation. He's talking to his broker after getting a hot tip on Diehard Dildos....a pliable, long lasting life-like sex toy manufacturer. Understandably embarrassed about making the trade, he kinda mumbles it and it comes out like ....'diebold' and his broker, not wanting to say "DID YOU MEAN DIEHARD DILDO's"?....just places his order for the voting machine stock.

I can see it. Yeah, I can see that.

7. How does one "accidentally" buy stock?
I've bought stock in over a dozen companies in the past year and I knew full well what I was doing with each of them.

8. Well if you sleep walk...

...I guess you could get on the Internet while you are asleep and purchase something -- like stocks? That would be an accident.

20. Half the country has been asleep since 1998, but voted anyway.
Leave it to the GOP to after the somnambulist vote.

So, yeah, I guess you can buy stock while your asleep, and call it "an accident."

9. To add to that, when he "discovered" he had it, he sold some,
but not ALL of it on his first try at getting rid of it. Accidentally, I'm sure, ALL being such an ambiguous term.

I think I am accidentally going to spend my IRA contribution on a trip to Vegas and accidentally deduct it anyway. After all, it will br an accident.

14. I accidentally went to the movies last week.
I've accidentally done a lot of things, if that's the standard Blackwell is using.

How about it, Ohio DUers? Is this guy going to be your next governor, or can Strickland take him out?

I'm hoping that chair goes blue. I'm talkin' as blue as it gets.

25. ...like all those voting "accidents" in Blackwell's Ohio in '04?
Some people are just accident-prone...

My bet's always been Blackwell will BE the one (one day soon) to squeal about what truly happened in '04 in Ohio. If he doesn't win his own election?
