Election Reform Forum needs assistant editors.........

Whats up DUers, We at the Election Reform Forum assemble & post the Eletion Reform Daily thread, known as the ERD each day as a service to our fellow members, and the Election Reform community.

I think all Duers would agree that the '06 elections and and Election Reform kind of dove tail together.

We at the ERD need 3 volunteers to do google news searches for the Daily Thread. SO if you have 1 hour to donate to this worthy project per week, say so, here in this thread.

Here are the 3 days that are open:

mon-Autorank- assistant Editor for mon, open

tues-Autorank- assistant Editor for tuesday, open

Fri- Roj- assistant Editor for friday, open

Hey Rog, how come everyone else has assistants but us? Is it something I said? Do thsy just not like me? Do they think bad things will happen to them if they're my assistant (like Dirth Harry's assistant)...and why won't anybody be your side kick?

3. I don't quite understand the overall concept of what you are trying

to do. Maybe I do.

You keep 1 thread open a day, and fill it with news about election reform? Is that right?

I still don't know how to easily include mastheads though.

10. one on one lessons for NICKnameless

Below is a banner I made. Put your cursor over it & Right click your mouse. The window that pops up includes the (Address URL), copy & paste the URL into a post. DOne.



Images and banners usually end in a .jpg or .gif -just to be sure you get the right info, which occasionally you dont.

11. I've got a Mac, so I can't "right click".

But when I clicked and held on the image, a menu popped up which allowed me to "copy image location".
A "happy accident", as they say in China. Very cool! :)

12. MAc-- good taste you have

With MACS-- sometimes you can drag an image from a web site, which sounds like what you did, into a DOc, or post. IIRC its hold down control- and click on the image to view its source.

I used to have an I-MAC G-4 at work, and my landlady has an G5 I-MAC.
