Republi-Cats On A Hot Tin Roof...
I hope the Democratic Party took notice. This morning, two Republican Congressmen were on C-SPAN discussing the budget. It's been a long time since I saw two Republicans squirm and bullshit to the extent of these two gentlemen. One was Rep. Mike Castle of Delaware, a self-defined "moderate" and the other was Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana, a self-described "conservative". It was delightful to watch them hot step so uncomfortably around the subject at hand.

The callers may as well have been all Democrats. They were cut no slack from anyone. Republican callers shellacked them just as hard as the Democrats. Neither of the Congressmen had any credible responses.

Democrats should take notice because the Republicans have created a trap of their own making. There is no escape. Democrats should grab this issue and pound them relentlessly over the head right up to election day. All the Democrats need to do is take the initiative. Watching these two Republicans this morning confirms to me that they have no credible response to this issue.
