Will Democrats ever expose real reasons for Iraq War?

Democrats did a good job of jumping on the Downing Street Memos that proved the stated case for the Iraq War was BS, but have been oddly silent about exposing the real reasons, even when Cindy Sheehan provided cover by going around and asking "what noble cause" her son died for.

Will Democrats ever be honest on this, or just continue to rework the GOP talking points a la WAG THE DOG?

Democrats, at least some Democrats, have been upfront and honest about the bullshit war from the start.

Our Democratic Leadership is a bunch of weak-kneed corporatist shills, toeing the line 'cause either they are paid to do so, are seriously deluded, or are too scared of the Rovian Attack Machine to do anything other than offer up plans to fight the bullshit war better by killing innocent iraqis in greater numbers.

But that is the Democratic Leadership. How about rephrasing the question?

Something like 8 other senators signed. So in answer, *some* Democrats care about exposing the lies behind the war.

regardless of whether Iraq had WMDs or not, is proof enough that #3 is the correct answer.
