5. Interesting. Certainly different from Edwards who says that he
is thinking but has not decided yet and from the others who are even less committed. For me on Bill Maher (which was excellent, by the way) was the first time that he actually said that, yes, he was running.

Oh well.

7. Really? .. LOL NVMoho!
I've heard him blab on about it on the Sunday shows..

Kinda strange too. He's the only person to announce, yet he never shows up on any of those polls the media feeds us!

3. Common knowledge. WAY to freakin' early
I can't take it seriously, personally. I think he just likes the podium it gives him to talk. People pay more attention to a potential candidate than just your average Joe Senator.

WASHINGTON - Democratic Sen. Joseph Biden said Sunday he intends to run for president in 2008, two decades after he dropped out of the race amid charges he plagiarized a British politician's speech.

"My intention now is to seek the nomination," Biden, of Delaware, said on CBS television's "Face the Nation." He said he would explore his support and decide by the end of this year -- a sign the race may get off to an early and competitive start.

"If in fact I think I have a clear shot at winning the nomination, by this November or December, then I'm going to seek the nomination," he said...
