I'm actually pretty much kidding!

But it seems like this is the way, here at DU, that one expresses gratitude to those who do the right thing!....and that's what I wanted to do.

In a way it is unfortunate that we have been forced to lower our bar so low as to what an heroic act is....by this administration. When folks do what they should be doing (their job)....we make a new bumper sticker for an upcoming campaign or feel the need to thank them so prefusely that we overpower their offices with flowers! That says a lot about the depth of desperation that we have endured over the past 5 years.

I think things may be looking up...although the GOP always have something up their sleeves that seem to take us unprepared.....so I ain't all the way relaxed, by no means.....

However, for the moment, I am rejoicing that, if nothing else, the media seems to be helping us FOR ONCE. I'm sure there is an ulterior motive here (like the WH being the catalyst for journalists being forced to reveal their sources-media don't like that) for the press' cooperation, but I'm thankful....and almost feel like buying them all roses....making sure I order the kind with the most pointed thorns.

Anyways......have a good week-end, and don't forget to do what you can for Francine Busby in the upcoming Special Election on April 11th, to replace the convicted Republican Felon Duke Cunningham, here in California! :hi:
