about how Republicans use prayer as a political operation tool, not a road to redemption.
I also thought the bit about creationism & fundamentalists, evangelicals, etc.: Democrats shouldn't fish in that pond...because those fish won't bite..."
Actually, the whole show was great, including the monologue... "Bush should not be allowed to see classified information..." "Make your IRS check out to Halliburton..." "File a joint return - send them a joint with a note 'If you think I'm paying for this war, you must be high'" "Bush knew about 9/11 beforehand? I didn't think he knew about it after..."

4. He was very impressive last night. |

And I, like Maher, admire the fact that he just came right out with it and said he was running for President.
I'm a LONG way from making up my mind--I won't even begin to think about that until after November this year, but I do appreciate the candor.
I can't stand the way people fuddle around with it when you just know they are running.

in reference to fundies and end times. IF they believe georgie is actually bringing them on, therefore HE IS the antichrist and they are FOLLOWING HIM.
do they think that? do they realise that?

7. I'm changing my mind about Biden |
|
which is suprising me.
Now if he can only learn to talk in sound bytes and be a bit less long winded.
The man's instincts are wonderful. And he's brighter than almost all of them.
I think he'd make a fantastic President.

9. Nah, I think it's a safe bet |
|
to say that he'd be pretty much diametrically opposed to what we have now.
I probably would not support him in the primaries, but I think he's got the brains and the political charm to make a great President.

biden is notorious for talking too much, and always about himself.
biden can run, but he doesn't have a chance.
and i REALLY wish ben afleck would get involved in politics. he is smart, very liberal, and quite photogenic.
