To those who are so upset about Kaus now |
|
why oh why weren't you then? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=108&topic_id=87449http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=735235Here are two threads that I posted when Kaus attacked Dean by lying about something Broder had written. One, count it one, Kerry supporter found this to be a problem. Why should I care now, when all but one of you didn't care then?

Seriously, if you want support on something, shorten it up and get to the point. I still have no idea what the point of either of those posts was. They gave me a headache trying to read them.
And some stuff is just blather. There will always be somebody criticizing a candidate. And I don't think I've posted anything in the Kerry Kaus thread either. I don't care what the guy has to say.
Friends?

5. If you honestly can't figure out the point of those posts |

then I have to wonder how hard you tried. It is a basic point. Kaus claimed Dean supported the war in Iraq when the subject hadn't even come up. It was made perfectly clearly.

They honestly gave me a headache. I was just trying to explain. Some posts are really long and I don't usually read them. And I don't know what you mean by "the subject hadn't even come up". The subject of the war came up a really long time ago.

3. Mickey Kaus is irrelevant. |
|
As a political thinker, he makes Chris Matthews look like John Locke.
Nothing he says is of the slightest importance.

4. Because one does not post in a thread that they do not like something |
|
does not mean that they like it. I tend to stay away from threads that discuss things I don't approve of or find offensive. You cannot assume a lack of comment is approval. I think you can look more at a lack of chiming in on an attack.

8. I avoid Slate like the PLAGUE and |
|
I was busy in Nov w Iowa and far away from DU.
Seriously, whenever I see any thread about Slate I run in the other direction. Just can't stand it. But I wasn't around then to avoid it.
