anything on their own. his believability is lower than his polls!
he's already sent out feelers and pulled back because of the political "fallout"
like the port deal,he'll cave because his credibility is so low!

7. I would put NOTHING past this band of thugs.

Bush believes he is above the Law, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, etc. The coterie/inner circle around him aid and abet his notions. NOTHING would surprise me. A nuclear attack on Iran, another 9/11, martial law imposed here --- ANYTHING goes with this bunch. I also think they don't give a damn about his low polls and in a sense they are right. Its great/encouraging for opponents to see the ever-lowering poll numbers, but Bush is still very much in power. Until Congress throws his evil ass out of there (and I have little to no hope for that ever happening), this guy has his smirking, arrogant finger on the button.
