Bush loyalists......a really hideous bunch
I`m beginning to think there is absolutely nothing the last few million Bush loyalists won`t condone, overlook or justify. Torture planes and melted Iraqis are small potatoes to this "Bomb Mecca" crowd. Bush loyalists seem to be itching for the chance to show the world their frothing superiority, their raw, dangerous might. I`ve had my fill of these twisted imperialists and everything they stand for because they`re pushing us far beyond the standard Republican vs. Democrat political squabble and into some kind of frightening, dangerous territory.

There`s almost no time anymore to think about deteriorating unions or high gasoline prices or acid rain, when that madman in the White House is floating plans to nuke Iran. Okay, so they`re "targeted"
strikes. More of those crisp, clean, pain-free actions the military reported in Fallujah.

The latest Washington Journal discussion was a real eye-opener. For the hard-core Bush loyalists, the transition from the invasion of Iraq to nuclear warfare in Iran is a simple step. Easy as going from watching a plane load of Iraq-bound National Guard troops take off to demanding a tax cut.
It`s all about the transfers. Morphing Osama into Saddam. Morphing WMDs into bringing democracy. Easy. All you have to do is point to what you intend to grab, then grab it. Real crowd pleaser. No questions asked. No Constitutional hindrances. No straight-jacketing international laws. No nothing. Just a fascist with a bunch of presidential signing statements and a herd of loyal followers screaming "USA, USA, USA."

1. "Dead-Enders"
Fuck 'em, they are idiots, or evil!

Some will never figure it out, others are involved in the massive hoax themselves.

2. I'm generally not one to make light of sick kids or sexual abuse, but

my stock answer to what the bushbots would condone is that Chimpy His Own Self could be caught on videotape molesting Make-a-Wish kids in a bathroom at Disney World, and these sick fucks would find some way to excuse it, even to exalt it.

As for the war, I've realized that the issue isn't really that they support THE war. Rather, they support WAR. Any war. Bush could declare war on Indiana and they would support it...slap a whole new bunch of ribbon magnets on their cars...get all weepy about the mission and protecting freedom and all that. It's all about doughy Hank Hill types trying to recharge their manhood...America at war is America on the march! And just as they can lounge around in their recliners and retreat into some fantasy world where they are Members In Spirit of their favorite football team (which, of course, they refer to as "we"), they'll convince themselves that sitting in front of the tube watching Larry the Cable Guy and Winston Cup races is pretty much the same as fighting with the real soldiers in Iraq. Or Iran. Or Indiana. As Stan (or is it Kyle?) would say, This is some really fucked up shit here.

4. Absolutely. One of my minor fears is that * will be impeached or,
at least, absolutely discredited and humiliated -- and then a couple dozen little Eric Rudolphs will disappear into the forest with the intention of completing their Great Leader's plan, vowing revenge on the hated liberals that destroyed their beautiful vision of a RW fundamantalist christian theocracy.

psychological experiments who would not hesitate to jack up the pain meter with the least provocation. Real jackboot thugs who get off on showing everyone how powerful they are. As long as there's someone to kick in the teeth (other than their kind), they loves their leaders. :puke:

6. When the corporate media was covering up for the doofus, I
was willing to give the Bushbots a limited free pass. But now there is no excuse for not admitting that this is the most venal, inept and morally bankrupt administration in US history. There is no hope for these zealots. As a recovering Catholic it is people like this that make me hope there is a hell.

7. That last few million is about 85 million.
Just so we all see what we're up against: if his poll numbers drop to 30%, that'll still be about 85 million 'Americans' that approve of what he's doing.

If that isn't frightening...
