Poll question: If Bush is sure to lose in November |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-02-04 10:11 PM by The Doctor
WIth the Good Ship Smirk taking water due to multiple hull breaches, and Dems seemingly extremely energized, it's looking like by November, * may be just about unelectable. If you knew this were to be the case, who would you want to be president?
I am sticking with Clark, since he's who I want to lead the party into upcoming Democratic Century. Anyone who would want to change, if you were guaranteed our nominee was going to win?

Not only do I think he has the best chance to beat *, I really believe he'd be an incredible president. Possibly our best since FDR.

5. Hey, why no Sharpton in this poll? |
|
I'm voting for Clark, but dammit Sharpton's got more support here at DU than Lieberman. In fact, he's got more support in American than Lieberman, if you believe the polls.

9. Edwards could have coattails... |
|
If the White House is a given, our priority should be the House and the Senate.
Edwards/Clark could win us a few of those seats.

I don't think most people here are backing a candidate based on anything other than a conviction in their candidate's worthiness.
edit: ok, I'll make an exception for those who really want Dennis.
Outside of DU, people may choose differently, though.
