Another Republican who is a real original thinker
http://home.comcast.net/~scannerhome/politics.htm

I like the one that says being a student won't make you any more enlightened than working at Blockbuster!

Edited on Mon Apr-10-06 09:14 AM by tocqueville
probably it goes around on freepers mailing lists. It's not even original thoughts...

if you look at the contents of this crapola, it's a mixture of fascism and libertarianism. In Europe you only find that stuff amongst skinheads, young nazis, football hooligans etc...

8. Nugent's not "bad"
He, like many right-wing dingbats, attempt to portray themselves as oppressed outcasts or victims of one social injustice or another.
Nugent is just another one of the far too many ignorant and self-deluded loud mouth chickenhawks who plays with guns, and enjoys killing animals.
He just gets his macho jollies off making people think that he is "bad", a fete easily accomplished considering those who share his veiws. But he's not "bad"; And unless he has served his country militarily, he's definitley not brave, either! I'm not aware that he has but will stand corrected if he did.

9. Snopes
"...This piece has also been credited to a number of decidedly conservative, outspoken media figures, such as rock star Ted Nugent, talk radio host Rush Limbaugh, and actor-comedian Denis Leary, but the even if the article may seem to echo the political opinions of these men, it doesn't quite match any of them, nor does the language used sound quite right for any of these figures...

<snip>

"...The essay quoted at the head of this page appeared in the FreeRepublic.com on-line forum back in September 2000 under the title "I Am a Bad Republican" (picking up title changes and additions since then as it was forwarded around the Internet), and the person who posted it there has taken credit for it in a another message in that same forum, stating that he wrote it in response to list sent to him by a Democrat friend about how to be a "good Republican."

10. ha! So the idiot posted an essay he agrees with and the person he thinks
wrote it, didn't even write it.

But, then again, if he had a job at Blockbuster, he might know something - at least more than some student.
