Why do people keep posting thst Bush is at "new" polling lows

when he is at 38% when he got down as low as 34% not long ago? This has always bothered me. It seemd to make his numbers not quite as bad as they have been.

Maybe this particular poll never had him this low. Was it Fox News? Gallup?

The 34% was a new low for that poll, don't remember which it was. The 38% is probably a new low for a different poll. It's stunning to me that these Bushbots don't get that they're a miniscule number of the earth's population, not more than 1%, and they're the only ones who don't see that this Administration is nuts.

Other pollsters have come up with lower numbers, but the important fact is that ALL the polls are going down, inexorably toward the Nixonian.

8. One of Roves little tricks

Leak "low approval numbers" that are actually the best numbers they can find. This gets past the BS detector of the Bush critic and discourages them at the same time.

The reality is 32% and probably three points below that. I remember Nixon and I don't recall even Nixon being as hated as Bush is. There may have been a more general dislike of him, but there wasn't the kind of focused hostility towards him as there is aimed at Shrubby.
