I vote tomorrow in Oklahoma and my vote will go to Clark |
|
For the last few days I have been going back and forth between Clark and Kerry and finally settled on the General. I was elated when he first announced he was running and went to one of his rallies in OKC several months ago. He comes across very genuine and obviously he is extremely smart(we could use some brain in the White House). Furthermore, I feel his credentials will enable him to stand up to the Rove smear machine.
Several days ago I went to a Kerry rally in OKC and came away from his rally very impressed. I do think Kerry is better at campaigning than Clark, but I still have some reservations about his ability to be able to pick up swing voters.
As I have said all along, I will strongly support and work for whoever is nominated, since I think this is one of the most important general elections our country has faced in years. I can't bear to think what four more years of a Bush presidency would do to our country and the world. We must take back our country!
Regardless of which candidate you're supporting, please be sure and vote tomorrow if your state has a primary.

I'm envious -- I hope the issue is still open when I get my chance to head to the polls. Wes Clark will make an extraordinary American President.

I am so happy you've chosen General Clark! |
|
I think Kerry is a fine man, and I have no problem if he becomes our nominee. However, the General is just a cut above the rest, IMHO. :-)

He is getting the rural vote! That shows that he has apeal to country folk who usually vote Republican. Did you happen to see American Son on Oklahoma TV?

8. Between Clark and Kerry, you made the right choice |
|
I agree, Clark doesn't have that media-trained polish that Kerry supposedly does, but then again, when Rove goes cherry picking, he'll come up with bushels on Kerry. If Dean isn't the man, Clark is the one.

From this Clark supporter in CA.
I really wish he could be our candidate, but if not, I would be happy to have him in the race a while longer. His voice is needed in this race. We need smart people speaking for us.

17. My daughter called from Missouri tonight |
|
and we talked for over an hour. She has been going between Clark and Kerry for over two weeks, but wanted to touch base with me before she made her final decision. She knew I would be voting for Clark and just wanted to hear my reasons. There will be one more vote for Clark in Missouri tomorrow.

for voting the General. He won't disappoint us of this I'm sure. He is such a breath of fresh air. My husband who is a truck driver filled out his absentee ballot tonight and was gloating how he got to vote Clark before me.

Clark is not as smooth as Kerry & that's why I like him; he really is an outsider.
Thanks for your thoughtful post.
