12. Oh yes, and such serious charges they are ...
Thanks for keeping me square - and everyone truthfully informed.

Most egregious they ARE too? Conyers asking for "babysitters" as compared to Tom Delay's four - out the door, outright CENSURES? :puke:

7. Yes that's correct..
This report is just too damn organized ..All the details and all those involved seem to be giving their account of this issue like they are using a memorized script..There is definitely something wrong..

5. Just wait until they start in on Maxine Waters....
THAT will get ugly fast. Anyone seeing a pattern here? Cynthia McKinney, John Conyers, and waiting in the wings -- Maxine Waters???

The DNC needs to step up and get behind the members of the CBC fast, and not leave them out there twisting in the wind. They are the only ones consistently speaking truth to power and it has made them targets. It will unforgiveable to abandon them.

9. If you let staffers babysit your kids....
the terrorists have already won! The horror! The horror! :boring: Are the American people really taking this seriously or can they (hopefully) see right through it? I haven't seen any 'polls' about this most heinous of crimes! :sarcasm:

11. Well, I hate to say it but...
I hope Conyers goes ahead an attacks back rather than just letting is stew in the media. I'm betting Rush will have this bullhorned throughout the country by 6pm. Conyers pretty much said he can't talk about it (from his lawyers advice/direction). I wonder if he's suing that Rooks woman and the others.

I only saw a small part of the CNN piece, but they did seem to put forth this is "politically motivated". They just didn't put it on the front and center to make it clear; when Kyra chimed back in to keep the slime fresh, I turned it off.

BTW, do we know anything about Rooks and her 'connections'?

13. Conyers should re-focus the IDIOT media back onto Bush-Co.
We really play Rove-Co's game by even entertaining these media whores. If every single Democrat dismisses this as what it is, distracting tripe, and re-focuses on BUSH, well - the Right Wingers will just be shouting into an echo chamber. But everyone MUST be on-board to dismiss? It's a true waste of time even addressing this CRAP. Ooops, I'm guilty ... but no mas!

14. Agreed. The way to do it, IMO
would be hold a press conference, refute it or admit sins (if any) and state how things have been changed. Next up to the microphone, Conyers' chief of staff making a statement and showing support, any other staffers from his office who have been with him over two years also make statements of support. End it right then and there. 'Nuff said. Time to move on and talk about "misleading" into a war, (and the list goes on with Bush).

But he does need to come out about it, face it, and nip it rather than waiting for it to 'go away'.

15. Right

So while Conyers had staffers babysitting his kids, this administration had DOJ lawyers assert jurisdiction in squashing The State of California versus a host of energy marketers resulting in no trial for these marketers who had already provided written confessions.

Clearly that Conyers thing should be looked into.
