I've been told in passing by a member of the State Department that a number of WMDs have in fact been found--along with evidence implicating France, Russia, and a number of other peace-loving countries in their manufacture.

It seems that the administration is using this info to bend those countries our way before releasing anything. Which is smart, effective, and very much like W.

In due time.

Totally agree! The President is amazingly consistent in his tendency to say little and know much.

It occurs that the mobile labs alone are two more "smoking" guns found in a matter of months....compared to the Uhhh Unnnhs finds over a period of YEARS. The libs MUST be held to CONSTANT accountability for saying ANYTHING deragatory of the administration at this time. WHY? All we heard for the last year was: "The UN NEEDS more time....these weapons are hard to find, so we MUST allow them more time....blah, blah, blah...

Now over a matter of a few months the fact there is derision because a mountain of wmds have not appeared is TRULY ludicrous.

Nope. The President is extremely controlled, quiet, relaxed, and at ease on this topic. Just like the cat with the cream. Time WILL tell.

I'm sure GWB is probably getting a kick out of the snot slinging hissy fit the left is in right now. For the last 30 months the Liberals have had to clean more egg off their face than all the eggs Denny's could hope to sell to their customers. This deal in Iraq has been the same way, from the "Quagmire" claims to the "Looting" of Iraqi museums. The leftist liberals have been grasping at straws and comeing away with egg on their faces

I'm thinking that probably in his speech commemorating 9/11 this year, Bush should do a sum up of everything we have found in Iraq and systematically refute the idiocy.

13. And some FR posters speak afluent Arabic, as well.
See, they're more useful at their keyboards than helping out at the CIA in the "war on terrah".

I have to chuckle. And about that egg all over my face?!? I do agree with fightingjag. bush should give a speech summing up everything (WMD's) we found in Iraq and refute the idiocy. Ya just don't have to be too smart to be a conservative, just have a big ole mouth to swallow stuff with.

12. Exactly.
Us 'liberals' had a whale of a time inventing the Dubai ports scandal, where mister "knows all-tells little", didn't have a freakin' clue what it was about, despite threatening to use the first veto of his failed presidency to protect it.

Is it just me, or does that KoolAid seem to be ramping up in potency?

the most likely use for two mysterious trailers found in Iraq was to produce hydrogen for weather balloons

I don't think the madcap mouthpiece of Saddam could have said this with a straight face.

Iraqi Trailers Said to Make Hydrogen, Not Biological Arms

Then they were after hydrogen bombs.

This has got to be the dumbest explanation floating.
I'll predict the weather for the next 30 days, hot, dry, windy, blowing sand.

Portable beer making works better than this hydrogen explanation.

A transparent hit piece. The article is a good sample of how to construct 'reasonable' propaganda. But there are no facts, no quotable sources, no solid indication of who or how many experts hold this opinion...

This is Dim propaganda piece, thinly disguised.

This is "Blix" propaganda. At the televised UN meeting, it was in reference to these types of trailors that he specifically turned to Powell and in the most rude tone, told Powell he was full of cr**.

It makes me really wonder if Blix was simply an out and out coward AND a traitor.

Please, Georgie? Please give us wacky Liberals a "sum up" of ALL the WMDs you've found in Iraq! Try to squeeze it in between our "cleaning egg off our faces" activities. :eyes: Well gee, there's not enough eggs in Denny's to match the number Bush and his Freeper, idiot followers are wiping off THEIR faces for LACK of any WMDs found! "Time WILL tell". alright. It's told us that Bush is a fucking liar and thief and that freepers are the most stoopid organisms on the planet for believing him. Freepers......one step beneath plant life.
