Randi Just Interviewd John Dean |
|
I turned the show on just in time to hear him say that W's manhood is all enmeshed into this presidency. And he commented on how that's why Cheney hunts - "It makes him look like a m-a-a-an!"
Did anyone else hear this and did I get it right? I'll have to listen to the archives. this interview must have been terrific from the beginning which I missed. :(

2. I didn't hear the interview, but that sounds about right ..... |

Weak men need to appear strong by doing "manly" shit.
In my view, real men eat quiche, love the women in their lives (love being a verb) and take care of others by giving of themselves, not just writing checks.

Landing on the Aircraft carrier in that ridiculous getup? Classic signs of insecure manhood. And everyone of *'s cronies is a chickenhawk. All these war-mongering Repukes want to send everyone ELSE to fight the war, but not go themselves. How much plainer does it have to be?
Teeney Weeney PeePee Complex. Chimpy Boy will Never Ever feel that he has satisfied Poppy and won over Mommy Babs. Such a typical, over-extended Oedipal complex. And the entire world is being victmized by it.

has a book coming out in a couple of months, and Randi was trying to get a bit of the contents before it comes out.

6. That's exactly right.... |

I watched a Tim Russert interview with Steve Jarding and Dave Saunders last week. (They wrote "Foxes in the Henhouse...How the Republicans Stole the South and the Heartland and What the Democrats Must Do to Run'em Out").
Dave Sauders talked about how important the anti- "wuss factor" was in the South....strong men, guns, NASCAR, military etc. That is why Bush had to land on the "Mission Accomplished" aircraft carrier in flightsuit and helmet.....made him look manly and appeal to his base. (He always has some type of military "costume" that makes him appear strong and decisive.) He usually refers to himself as being strong, resolute, determined, confidence to enhance his phoney bravado.
I think John Dean was absolutely correct in describing or VERY WEAK leader.
