Barry Switzer endorses John Edwards |

I know, endorsements don't mean too much. But in a state like Oklahoma, where Barry Switzer is referred to as "The King", you never know.
Switzer may just be the most influential man in Oklahoma. He backed Democrat Brad Henry for Governor who won against the very popular Republican congressman Steve Largent.
According to an OU-Poll:
Sixteen percent of those who voted for Henry said they were influenced by the endorsement of former OU and Dallas Cowboys football coach Barry Switzer. Poll analysts said Switzer's appeal may explain why Henry carried men younger than 50, a demographic group that historically votes Republican.
This was apparently reported on the news tonight in Oklahoma, and robo-calls from Switzer have gone out to Oklahoma residents today.
This could mean a few extre points for Edwards, which is very important in the tightly contested state.

I mean, Oklahoma Football Coach pretty much has GOP written all over it. Nice to know he isn't.
