Iraq, Iran, North Korea and the "Axis of Evil"
Edited on Sat Apr-15-06 12:14 PM by NativeTexan
There is something that I have been saying since our chickenhawk president first uttered the phrase "Axis of Evil".

When excuses for going to war were first starting to look a little frayed around the edges, George W. Bush uttered those now infamous words, so that he could lump two countries that had been feared to be internationally dangerous for years, in with one that he just wanted to conquer and occupy for reasons that had been set forth, in his mind, long before he ever took office.

And, if you remember, Iran and North Korea weren't anywhere NEAR being front page news, nor had they been for YEARS.

But, when they were listed as part of an imaginary "axis", and one of the other "imaginary" members was attacked and occupied by the country whose leader had made up said "axis", then you have what could easily be called an "excuse" to go forth in areas that the other two countries really probably weren't planning on doing, at least anytime soon.

In other words, I believe that the Village Idiot AWAKENED two VERY DANGEROUS psychopaths, and set them free on a world that may now have to go to war to do something about. And less we forget, America is ALREADY SPREAD SO THIN that we may not be much help when it happens. At least without of pulling out of Iraq first! And we a have already started a civil war there!

The leader of the bloodless coup of the United States in 2000, is proving to be one of the most dangerous world leaders since Adolf Hitler or Pol Pot!

But that's just me..........

1. They want to see who will rise up against them...
then free the world from that much strain of the Earth's resources being used.

5. America is ALREADY SPREAD SO THIN -- this is patently false
America's military strength, in strictly manpower terms, is approximately 1.5 million, less than one-third of which are "desk jockeys", and not including the National Guard and Reserves." 1.5 million active duty military, perhaps 200,000 men in Iraq, maybe 15,000 in Afghanistan top (I think it's now much less than that, but they're not telling), you do the math.

If were were attacked tomorrow we would own whoever decided to shoot at us.

6. Manpower needed to open a THIRD FRONT.
If we start a third front, we are looking at problems with actual security of the U.S. mainland. The National Guard....emphasis on "National", is heavily involved in the Iraq occupation. We are still the mightiest force in the history of the world, BUT.....there will eventually be a limit, and getting caught short at home, because the Village Idiot lied us into Iraq....isn't a really good option, IMHO.
