1. Nice, Gore is a real LEADER. I think he could turn this country
around, better than any Dem. He would not be such a sell out to corporate power in my opinion.

11. I think this poll takes the pulse of active Democrats.
Progressive Democrats, not the progressive indies here at DU. It certainly reflects where I and just about all my friends are in our discussions, and I am most pleased indeed that Al Gore has taken a substantial lead and that, in fact, Hillary is not the front-runner, by a long shot.

5. I like our line-up a lot. The Republicans look ragtag & wet behind
the ears.

Go, Dems.

7. Definitely a good man. I wouldn't be disappointed at all if he were our
nominee.

He's smart, tough, realistic, and a friend of the environment.

9. If we assume Gore meant what he said about not running .....
..... who would get his votes? Clearly he has enough votes that, if distributed according to what each voter held as a second choice, those votes could turn that whole chart upside down and sideways.

12. Gore is undefeated in elections, so I think he stands a good chance...
if he is nominated.

13. Go Russ Feingold
I think he's going to be the next president. Unless Al Gore threw his hat in. It would be close between those 2, but I would still favor Feingold.
