Some at the Pentagon completely ignoring Rumsfeld.
There is a growing movement amongst military brass in Washington that suggest that Donald Rumsfeld is being "marginalized", and that some in the Pentagon are going their own seperate ways and undermining Rumsfelds credibility. Some have called him an "increasingly spent force".
According to the Wall St. Journal, via Raw Story, some military people at the Pentagon are striking out on their own, and completely ignoring Rumsfeld, because anything he touches, will surely get botched. Some at the Pentagon think some of Rumsfeld's ideas are stupid, and they want no part of it, says Robert Killebrew, a retired Col.
Rumsfeld is under a ton of pressure to resign, and this story only proves that his credibility is zero. If you have a subscription to the Wall St. Journal, you can go there for the story, if not, use this link.

1. The miltary does not typically marginalize civilian authority.
Sounds like a first step to me. First Murtha putting them on notice. The retiree's have already shot across the bow of Rumsfeld's war machine. What next?

2. Thanks for the update ,Kb.
When the Wall Street Journal has washed its hands of you, you are truly done for.

Over the weekend, Yahoo news divulged: "Rumsfeld is under intense pressure to show some progress in Iraq". I laughed when I read that. OH my God, could there be any better justice? this is a man who thoroughly destroyed this helpless country. Tortured its people, and then pinned the whole thing on underlings. Lied and lied some more, just for good measure.

Just imagine, the old creep is now under pressure to show some PROGRESS. What a cosmic joke. His career hangs on that. The article said "it needs to happen soon, in order to hhelp the mid-term elections".

We all know how that will go.....

4. Poor Donald; ugly, stupid, and nobody likes him
Maybe he'll get a cell at The Hague with his old business pal from Iraq. Whatever happened to Saddam, anyway?
