Is our Party ready? Are they prepared with ammo for 2006? |
|
Nobody has stepped up yet to grab the momentum. Nobody is taking full advantage of the demise of the Republicans. Should we be running around and kicking them while they're down, or should we be content to silently let them continue to self destruct?
With the elections just months away, do our Democrats have lots of good stuff up their sleeve with which they're going to beat their competition? Are they going be all over Republicans with their own brand of shock and awe? Take the offensive for once in their lives? As we speak, are they all together as a cohesive unit with a secret plan, moving forward ever so slowly, waiting for the perfect time to pounce? I hope so.
But something tells me maybe not. Something tells me maybe we're going to continue sitting back hoping Republicans lose all on their own. And something also tells me the country is just THIRSTING to hear some thunder from Democrats instead. Something tells me that if the Democrats start making some big noise, anytime too soon, that the country would rally around them.
What will it be? Thunder, silence, or a sneaky plan that's ready & waiting up our sleeves? I sure hope it's either thunder or a sneaky plan. I'm sick of playing it safe, and so is the rest of the country. They want to hear from us. The Republicans were never more vulnerable than they are now. What the hell are we waiting for, gas prices to drop??

They had the chance to begin training their long-dormant muscles during the FISA censure debacle. Instead, they showed that their "strategy" is the patented DLC "the other guy sucks worse" triangulation approach.
Lord! Help us!

Against the far right. The question is whether they have the will to use it.
