A repeat of the winning '92 ticket with two Southerners.

5. If Kerry is VP, we'll win MA and the windsurfer vote |
|
I like Gore at the top, though. Even if he didn't succeed, his candidacy would keep the triangulators on their heels.

7. Personally, I'm a Feingold for Prez gal ... |
|
... but in any order, that is a VERY impressive line-up!
Imagine having intelligent people running the country again ...
I don't want to be a downer here, but once we get the country back (of which I have no doubt), I think it's important that Democrats, as a party, REMIND people of what these Bush/Neo-Con years have been like.
People forget too quickly. IMHO, many voted for Bush in 2000 because they thought Clinton had everything on-track, and their boy would just keep that prosperity ball rolling. Of course, they now know differently. So we've got to keep that 'Remember Bush' thing going for YEARS to come.

8. I would rather see Dean as Secretary of Health & Human Services |
|
and somebody like Steffi Woolhandler or David Himmelstein or Sidney Wolfe as Surgeon General (the leftie docs who have closely studied the "minutia" of "single payer" systems and can actually implement it without the Canadian and British belches).
Atty General is a tie between Eliot Spitzer, John Edwards, and Jennifer Granholm.
(I like Eliot Spitzer - he has the S&M Attorney General gleam in his eye)

16. Can we begin that government tomorrow morning? Please? |
|
It sounds really good. A great line-up of people.
There would be powerful poetic justice in a Gore-Kerry ticket. It almost happened in 2000, with Lieberman winning out at the last minute.
Yep, greenbriar. I like the sound of that government a whole lot better than who's in there now.

As I just noted in another thread, I would love to see these two together.

18. Do you really think Kerry would "settle" for being VP candidate? |
|
Not in a million years. Even if he would, there's no way Gore is going to pick John Kerry as his running mate.
