NO mayoral debate live on MSNBC right now
Naturally, everything they're discussing is about Katrina, and not letting it happen again.

72. I'm probably going to vote for Landrieu
Edited on Mon Apr-17-06 10:44 PM by Hippo_Tron
I was initially going to vote for one of the lesser knowns that wasn't even up there tonight, but it looked like he stopped trying.

Now I need to figure out who to vote for, for the lesser offices. The only one that I've really looked into is criminal sheriff. Gusman has been under criticism from the ACLU and human rights organizations for the poor job he did of evacuating Orleans Parish Prison. I've read DeSalvo's platform and it looks pretty good. The only reservation I have is that although DeSalvo is a Democrat, he is endorsed by the New Orleans Republican Executive Committee. I suppose they just like him over Gusman.

Anyway, I need to figure out who to vote for City Council, Civil Sheriff, and Clerk of Court.
