Now we're at "all options on the table." What happened to "wild |
|
speculation" parroted by dimson and Rummy just last week regarding nuking Iran? What changed besides his plummeting poll numbers, the mess he continues to make in Iraq, the whole admin's unpopularity, and the skyrocketing price of gas because they don't want to pursue diplomatic solutions?

1. Same script as 2002, swap "Iran" for "Iraq" |

How freakin' clueless do they think we are? Even given the very short memory of the public, 3.5 years is not long enough to forget the lies which they are now repeating word-for-word. Gimme a freakin' break.

2. Pretty soon, they'll "force his hand" and "thumb their noses at the |
|
international community" and then we just might "shock and awe" them and then they'll "welcome us with open arms."

The oil executives are struggling to make the payments on their new yachts and they have had to buy new chalets in Whistler, BC now that global warming has fucked up the skiing in Aspen so they have called up Bushco and demanded some more instability in the Middle East to drive up oil prices. Last year's record profits only whetted their appetites.

Tinfoil hat maybe, but is it possible that this threat to Iran is a way to make them bomb Iraq, thus accomplishing the goal of decimating that country and its citizens, effectively ending the Iraq war, without the US being directly complicit?
With this frigging admin, anything is possible.:nuke:

and while it garnered a great deal of outrage, they figure it will less when they actually do it now, because people will be resigned to it.
