Poll question: Are you voting (or caucusing) today?
I'm curious what percentage of DUers are participiating in a presidential primary or caucus today.

1. Voter, Legislative District Caucus Manager, Dean Volunteer
Gonna have a busy afternoon.

It's gonna be a great day for Dean and a great day for Democrats.

2. I am annoyed that my vote does not come until June in NJ
Edited on Tue Feb-03-04 10:52 AM by Jersey Devil
NJ is an important state for Democrats and although it has gone Democratic the past 3 times it is generally a swing state. To have NJ Democrats in a position to have nothing to say about the nominee until it is too late to matter is a disgrace in my opinion.

3. My vote counts (almost)
This is the first primary where my vote still matters. I lived in Arkansas in the 90's and Colorado in 2000. The nomination is still up for grabs and I get to vote.

I say almost, because I live in Missouri and will likely see a Kerry blowout today.

4. If your vote is counted, your vote counts...
Be of good cheer, and pat yourself on the back for doing your duty in an almost free democratic society.

6. I'm in Missouri too, and the news media has picked the nominee

I live north of Kansas City up by KCI, and even though the media same as tells us it won't do any good to vote for anyone else, it surely doesn't keep me from going to vote my heart & head. :hi:

5. I'm heading to the Missouri polls right away

We got a lot of snow here, but things are pretty well back to normal.
Actually, I would have walked if necessary to vote. It probably won't do any good, but my heart's on the left side anyway. :hi:  :dem:

11. I just voted
I was the only voter in a church basement in the Republican Upstate of South Carolina. One woman was exiting the driveway as I drove up. I was given a paper ballot to stuff in a ballot box. Usually there are machines. I guess in this area they didn't expect many voters. There was poll worker checking off names.

13. Just got back from voting...
for Dean in MO. Voting seems to be unusually light in my area, a heavily populated suburb of St. Louis. I was only voter #76. Anyone else who's voted in MO. notice a light turnout so far?
