I think this shoe leather type stuff is really effective.

I did canvassing for the Kerry campaign and our county went blue in a red state.

I was part of a small group made a commitment to flyer every single house in the county, and we did.

I think this is one of the best ideas Dean has ever had.

We should take it a step further, and all be ready at the drop of a hat to canvass a neighborhood any time we need to get real facts out to the people.

6. This is a good plan

You see sandnsea, I got you riled up and now you are posting good info at all hours of the night. I listen to Air America about 3 hours a day and I never heard anything about this campaign. I usually watch MTP but started tuning it out since Russert went soft. Where would I have heard about this?

My point on the other thread was that we do have ideas but we need them to go mainstream. This might be the way to do it.

I am going to have mine professionally done from online printer. We should research and post companies that are blue friendly. Pretty cheap: about 5,000 for about $300. That along with the work of getting them distributed is more directly beneficial than a campaign contribution.

I am going to wait until October when it is cooler and the election is fresher on people's minds. Also I plan on traveling to a contested district where we have a good chance to flip a seat. It would be a waste of time to distribute them here in conservative wasteland.
