the SADDEST thing about the Hu protestor is that she actually asked
Bush to help stop the executions of her people.

That's like asking Charles Manson to babysit your kids.

I realize it was a good publicity stunt, but
still...its sad to think that we have a president who would actually apologize for someone asking not to be executed.

That's the thing that struck me most about the news report that I saw: Bush apologizing. Just imagine, apologizing to the leader of a country with a bad human rights reputation when someone stands up to protest the abuse of their human rights by that country. Maddening and sad.
