Poll question: How low do you think the President's poll numbers will go?
Inspired by this http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x2245039 and other threads.

Bush's latest poll number has him a point below the heretofore disastrous Faux news poll, at 32%. How low do you think his numbers will get before he scrapes bottom?

8. I can't wait to see the next credible poll.
Gallup and Fox both previously had Shrub around 37-39% when everyone else was saying 33-36%. Figuring for a three or four point advantage on the conservative polls, he may already be the second most unpopular president in American history, beating out the post-Korea Truman at 29%. Next landmark: Richard Nixon, circa his resignation, at 24%.

10. It will hit a bottom soon
The political make-up of the country is about 45% Republican, 45% Democrat, and 10% neither or independant.
40% was Bush's base. So that was considered to be the lowest the numbers can go. But since the past 6 months he has been stabbing his own base with things such as the Dubai port deal and supporting illegal immigration, his numbers have cut deep division in his base. It's about 33 to 34% and I think you probably will only see it go about 5 points lower at the most.

Remember when Nixon left office he still had a 29% approval rating.

Whoever is left supporting Bush are the die-hard righties and neo-conservatives.

12. Perhaps the TONY SNOW fanbase will prop him up a bit!!!
Remember how the White House had a thing going with women swooning over Ari? (He even got a stalker after that, so that idea wasn't the greatest, perhaps...)

11. After martial law is declared, Bush will poll in the high 90s approval
right alongside North Korea's Great Leader!
