Tony Snow taking the press job, good or bad?? |
|
I think Snow taking the job is good. It's going to be fun watching Tony squirm around trying to answer questions. Mc.Clellan never got briefed by Rove, Cheney or Bush. Do you really think anything is going to change?? This is gonna be fun to watch!!!

6. Hell, he may feel like he's really taken a step down ... |
|
... when all he's fed are pure lies. At least at FOX they have some fluff pieces.
I hope the press corps rips him a new one.

16. Will the press corps rip him a new one, though? |
|
Or will his pals in the Fourth Estate give him a pass, knowing how much they like old Tony? Tony also decides who gets to ask questions, and more importantly, who doesn't. Will Helen Thomas, David Gregory or Terry Moran get a chance to do anything except clear their throats? Snow looks like a petty, vindictive little shit, which means that he'll fit right in with this petty, vindictive cabal of mean little shits.
Something else I wonder: What kind of security clearance does the Press Secretary require, if any? Is Tony Snow qualified for a security clearance?

The MSM will, (at least they should), report on his past as a Faux commentator when he takes over. Most people who aren't Faux viewers will then roll their eyes and, hopefully, question that "network"'s credentials.

8. Snow is an accomplished pathological liar. You won't see him |
|
squirm, he's too experienced at lying.
It's very bad that he was given this position.
We'll miss Scotty. You knew he was lying, and he wore it on his sleeve.
With Snow, we'll know he's lying, but the only way we'll be able to tell is because his mouth is open.

Snow won't be as vulnerable as little Scotty. The FOX background is good for us but the nightly clips they use on the network news, etc. will be more competent and not always on the defensive.

9. Its going to be interesting to see the reaction to his condescensing |
|
little smartass comments. He's so "tough" when he's bashing that ol' librul media with his "fair and balanced" friends Fred Barnes, Ollie North, John Gibson, and O'Leilly, lets see how he can take it.
I'm not sure he's going to be able to rein his smugness in, it shouldn't take long to backfire.

True, there may not be 40,000 a month and he does need to know the names and this time he must care about those members of the BA who lose their jobs.

|
this position has no affect on the american people. whoever gets the job will just lie, day in and day out, just like the last ones. the change is insignificant.

I think this is significant only because it will do two things, make Foxnews cringe in disgust everythime the press asks a hard question, and also show what an asshole Snowjob will be.
