what the democrats should be saying is that bush should be telling them to roll back prices just as kennedy told big steel in the 60`s. but we know that won`t happen because they own him.

9. Gotta say, this is a pretty potent comment from Sen. Schumer.
The guy he replaced in that seat, Alfonse D'Amato, kept a modest watch on street potholes and sewer drains, etc.

Schumer's suiting up for a bigger fight, sounds like.

it's just a case of a special kind of "harmonic covergence" that has always driven Schumer. Every so often what's good for Chuck Schumer, politically, is good for everyone else, so he ends up looking like a hero for about 48 hours until he returns to being the no-nad power piggy he is in reality.

This moment of seeming brilliance will pass. It's all done with smoke, mirrors and coincidence.
