The media is already positing "impeachment" as a |
|
perceived and inherent evil.
They are once again treating Republicans as the "home team" when they play scary music and say "If the Democrats get control of one or both houses of Congress, do you fear they will attempt to impeach the President?" when talking to some RW think-tanker who's pedigree has not been mentioned in his introduction.
We will have to get past the RW bullhorn on this one, pronto!
With the degree on damage that this administration has done, impeachment would be the equivalent of jumping off the hot stove.

5. So, let's go after the problem. The response that I get when |
|
I tell most people that Murdoch is in power at News Corp because the Saudis own a large block of stock is "I did not know that."
Then I go on to tell them that when Prince al-Walid bragged at a conference in Dubai that during the Muslim riots in France, he picked up the telephone and told his friend Rupert that he did not like the headlines at Fox News, Muslim was changed to Youth in about 30 minutes. "Oh, I DID not know that."
And now the UAE is buying large blocks of CNN stock.
Also, there is resentment about the multi-million dollar contracts the talking heads are getting. 75 million dollar contract for a news reader, and they understand the problems we face? I think not.
The list of gas prices given on CNN for European countries is a prime example of trying to sway public opinion with propaganda. There should have been lists on housing costs, wages, medical costs, and social safety nets--something the US does not have.
I plant the seed of doubt about the veracity of television news when I can. They are not the working and middle class friend.

4. Many questions were neglected by Repubs & investigations are needed |
|
...and if the investigations call for impeachment, then so be it. However, if they have done nothing, there is nothing to fear.

8. Yep...they are "setting" it all up! |
|
So sad that instead of asking real questions of Bush and Co., they are attempting to create a cause and effect of vote for a Democrat and your Prez will be impeached or Censured (they also attempting to make impeachment and Censuring the same thing....which they are not by far!)
When you couple this with the many "new" tapes of our "mortal" war on Terra enemies, and non stop talk about "cleaning house" with Tony Snow.....you know we are playing on their home field.
Stinks like shit....and there's not much we can do to stop them. They are excellent at manipulation; our Corporate media...that is.
Watch for some of our troups to be redeployed from Iraq to big fanfare later on during the election season. It's coming.....Just you watch!

What leads you to say this?
I don't doubt that there are indicidents of this in the MSM. But I'd like to see you hypothesis supported with some facts.

10. All the better to undertake this NOW |
|

We're pushing ahead with this right now. Partly because the sooner we start this the sooner the whole of BushCo will drop everything else and go into battle mode. We figure that's one way to minimize future damage to the earth and America, because we already have a big fucking mess to clean up.
