Boycotting a company because they charge too much, is not a progressive cause.
Boycotting a company because they are profiting when our soldiers die is a progressive cause.

...when it comes to the environment and cleaning up their own messes. When the Exxon Valdez went aground the first thing Exxon did was NOT start cleaning up the spill. They applied for government assistance and meanwhile the people of Alaska were sopping up the oil with paper towels and trying to save the birds with dishwashing detergent.
