To ALL campaign volunteers and workers: |
|
:toast:
I voted my conscience today, and while I am proud to have done so, I'm realistic about my candidate's chances. I've worked on primary campaigns long and hard, and I know the real heartbreak that will come for many tonight.
Thanks for giving voice to ideas, opinions, and hearts. Thanks for your efforts to make the US a great nation again. Your work isn't in vain, even if it seems hopeless.
Eventually, we will have to make some very tough decisions, and I respect everyone for theirs. I will vote ANY Dem but Bush this November and work from within, if necessary.
I salute you all, I really do. Even if I don't agree with your candidate, I respect and admire you all for your efforts on behalf of all of us.
As long as we are active and engaged, they can't take the spirit of Lady Liberty from us.
Once again, thank you all for your efforts; never, ever feel they are in vain.

One of the things I enjoy about campaigning is convincing apathetic people to get involved in the process. If every Democrat can convince 3 disaffected voters to vote in November, Bush won't have a chance.

4. Spoken like a true Democrat! |

There are important presidential appointments, many of which any one of our candidates could assume tomorrow without having to be coached. For this I'm proud. Thanks!
