repealing the gasoline tax will result in the privatizing of highways,
so you will have to pay god awful gas prices and ...pay to drive on the highways.. EVERYWHERE

they will have drive thru's with automatic billing. you will get a bill for mileage on the road.. and a Bu$hitCo corporation will make a profit on it..

1. Dig that!
Indiana's Bush knockoff (Governor Daniels) just sold our turnpike to an international group. I see great pain in our future.

4. I am starting to think it is fait accompli
They were absolutely correct when they displayed the "Mission Accomplished" Banner, they have destroyed the USA as we knew it. The nicest thing that could happen to us is that climate change would end our species in the next twenty years, because things look dire indeed.

6. shouldn't we as a country
agree that shit costs money to run? I mean cutting taxes and wiping out spending is not the way any organization runs. It seems to me that a true patriot would be happy to pay tax, not looking for every way to get out of it. People pay big bucks to their country clubs because it costs money to run. I just don't get this idea that a patriot should get his government without paying fairly for it. Kinda embarrassing.

7. Turnpikes are also an excellent way to launder & funnel cash.
The GOP learned this in Florida and also used it in Ohio. Seems like they are trying to take it nationwide.

8. We need to increase tax on gas and use it to increase mass transit
Portland, OR, is a showcase of what is possible.
