What was Hillary doing at a Fox News soiree?
http://www.mediabistro.com/fishbowlDC/events/a_foxy_affair_36013.asp

The windows of Cafe Milano were sealed over with Fox News Sunday posters. There were Fox News Sunday cigars, Fox News Sunday napkins and Fox News Sunday candle holders (seriously). Hell, there were even search lights, in case, you know, Batman might want to stop by (he is, after all, fair and balanced when it comes to crime).

Yes, even on Prom Week, when the VIP circuit is already overheated, Fox News Sunday managed to pull off a stellar and star-studded event last night to toast the 10 year anniverary of Fox News Sunday.

< snip >

Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch delivered some opening remarks, letting listeners know that "this is the 55 month in a row that we've beat CNN" and asking "does anyone even watch MSNBC anymore?"

Guests included Hillary Clinton, Mike Wallace, Vernon Jordan, Mike Allen, Paul Bedard, Shepard Smith, Sen. Bill Frist, Sen. Hillary Clinton, Josh Bolten, Ben Nelson, Bill O'Reilly, John McCain, Terry McAuliffe, Elaine Chao, Karen Feld, Bill Hemmer, Gen. Richard Myers, Andrea Mitchell, Lindsey Graham, Greta van Susteren, Betsy Rothstein, Ana Marie Cox, Major Garrett, Tony Snow, Anne Schroeder, Newt Gingrich, Karen Finney, Howard Fineman and Jack Valenti.

10. I heard that dishonest argument in 2000...
Edited on Thu Apr-27-06 07:24 PM by Dr Fate
...an arguement that provided us with 8 years of Bush.

Anyone who can look at the 8 years under Clinton and say it is "the same" as what we have now is being dishonest.

20. Did the Clintons give you health care?
You know, I know what you're saying, but you might want to
ask yourself:

o Did the Clintons give you health care?

o Did the Clintons give you a working national energy policy?

o Did the Clintons stave off job outsourcing?

o Did the Clintons allow domestic spying?

o Did the Clintons allow unprecedented media consolidation?

o Did the Clintons raise or lower the tone of the national debate?

o Did the Clintons fight fiercely for gay rights and women's rights?

24. 8 years of peace, prosperity and job offers.
Clinton had different positions from Bush on every one of those issues you listed.

27. I take it your answer is "No, the Clintons' didn't give you health care".
It's a shame, because they could have if they'd had the nerve.

28. I remember when the GOP & Media shut down Hillary's efforts.
Edited on Fri Apr-28-06 02:30 PM by Dr Fate
I also remember we had a Republican congress & media who wanted to talk about sex scandals instead of any Healthcare plans or lack there of.

Thank you for joining them in their senseless, baseless attacks.

31. Let me see if I understand this...
After the 1992 election, we held the House, the Senate, and the Presidency.

But Clinton was still unable to accomplish diddly-squat, his biggest
accomplishment seemingly being his disasterous "Don't Ask/Don't
Tell" policy.

In 1994, after two years of the Democrats screwing around, they decisively
lost the House and Senate, and Clinton (and we) permanently lost his
ability to get anything done (except to save his ass).

5. Same thing McCain was doing
at Jerry Falwell's University - trying to appeal to a wider audience. Not worth the effort IMHO. No one at Liberty University will vote for McCain and no one from Faux News will vote for Hillary (except for Alan Colmes).

23. FoxNews is not a legitimate news organization
It is the privatized Pravda for the yuppie fascist Bush regime.

What were Senator Clinton, Senator Ben Nelson, Vernon Jordan, Terry McAuliffe, Jack Valenti and Karen Finney doing there? For that matter, what were Mike Wallace, Howard Fineman and Andrea Mitchell doing there?

This was no place for what is supposed to be the political opposition to the yuppie fascist regime or for supposed representatives of responsible news gathering agencies. These people showed very poor judgment in associating themselves with FoxNews. They should hang their heads in shame.

25. hillary showing up at a fox news soiree..snake joining the den of snakes..
wow.. we finally see her true colors.

she is the biggest kiss ass zell miller democrat if I've ever seen one...

she will not get the nomination and she'll steal millions of dollars from good hearted democratic 'sheeple' thinking she has a chance, and just like Kerry, not one penny of that will go to winning back the senate or house, but instead, to her 2012 election since she'll get disqualified early in the 2008 running for opening her big mouth like she did on MLK day slamming hard working african americans...

no hillary belongs in the den of snakes.. she makes her bed and she will lie in it...

this is beyond nonpartisan politickin' this is about Hillary trying to make friends with Rupert Murdoch so she can control the media like Bushies did and nothing will change.. only there will be a D instead of R after the name.... nothing changes.. it's all corporate sell out..

where's howard dean, the man who refused to meet with corporate interests during his campaign.. where's the next howard dean dark horse candidate? she/he's out there somewhere.....
