George Clooney taking action in DC (Darfur)
This on IMDb. George Clooney is such a hero. ... along with Susan Sarandon for marching in NY against the war!

Clooney Joins Politicians for DC Showdown

Movie star George Clooney joined US Senators Barack Obama and Sam Brownback in Washington DC yesterday in an effort to urge President George W. Bush to take action and end the atrocities in Western Africa. Fresh from an awareness trip to the Sudan, where armed Arab militia have been raping and killing African Muslims and driving them out of the country for several years, Clooney is keen to turn US politicians' heads towards the civil war hell he recently captured on film. The Ocean's Twelve star, who is in Washington for Sunday's Save Darfur Coalition Rally To Stop Genocide, looked every bit like a politician as he dressed in suit and tie to address the National Press Club. The Oscar winner spoke about his visit to the war-torn African region with his father, former newsman Nick Clooney. He also showed reporters harrowing video footage from his trip, including interviews with refugees.

2. Thank you so much
This is extremely important. There is no more important issue on this planet right now. We should be focused.

George Clooney is great. I saw Solaris last night. It's hard to believe someone of his stature could care. Thank you for all who do care.

It is already years after this was started. These poor people have suffered immeasurably. It hurts us all when this happens. We are all one. We need to get this.

3. Clooney can take action in my neighborhood any time - he, he, he
The man has a social conscience, plus he's outrageously good looking.

It's about time SOMEBODY put this nightmare in America's face. THIS is what we should be utilizing our military for, not Iraqafghanistaniran.
