Imus on Clinton vs Colbert on Bush**.
What do you think?

I think Imus on Clinton was way over the line.
Colbert on Bush** was BRAVERY.

3. Colbert went after the Chimp for his policies
not for his real or purported private life, which is what Imus did. It's not like Iraq, New Orleans, the retired Generals, etc. aren't all part of his public dossier. If he had started making cracks about george's coke use, drinking, or paternity of illegitimate children, that would have been Imusesque; what Colbert did tonight was decidedly different.

9. Eh ...

Private life is open season for comedians, which is what Imus thinks he is.

I've never really liked Imus. Don't find him humorous in the least, so, no, I didn't like Imus on Clinton simply because I didn't find it particularly funny.

But do note something, the difference between the way Clinton handled it and the way Shrub handled it. That's the "tell."
