Thousands March in Anti-War Protest in Manhattan

Tens of thousands took to the streets of Lower Manhattan yesterday to demand America's withdrawal from Iraq. Marchers included activist Cindy Sheehan, Rev. Al Sharpton, and actress Susan Sarandon.

The demonstration began on Broadway near Union Square around noon and marched downtown to Foley Square near City Hall. Organizers said that 300,000 people marched. More details from CNN.
