The only connection I could get anywhere was via Winamp.

in the UK using ebay.com just fine. The only problem I've got is with DU which seems to run slow. No problems with email - I'm on 10 meg broadband anyway.

and some other progressive sites as well. I thought the major carriers were already trying out their "tiered" internet access. Things have been weird for most of the day, you're right! :shrug:

18. What the hell is going on today?!?! I don't know if this is related, but

one of our computers has just been infiltrated with a horrid deluge of spyware and trojans about an hour and a half ago, totally out of nowhere, and has essentially stopped functioning - I had to switch to this one. I'm running every diagnostic I can but it's not fixing it. I've never encountered anything like this.

And yes, the internet is running agonizingly slowly, even on this computer.
