Madeleine Albright is rocking with Wolfie
Edited on Tue May-02-06 06:37 PM by IndianaGreen
Bush makes us look like we are on a mission from God, she said.

She is lambasting Bush for linking religion to his foreign policy. "Like waving a red flag in front of a bull"!

4. She was just on Wolfie's The Situation Room

She has a new book out where she talks about the dangerous linkage of Bush's personal religion to his foreign policy, the "Messianic complex" that Sy Hersh wrote about in the article about Bush nuking Iran.

I am not a fan of Albright, but by G-d, she sounds rational compared to Condi Rice!

How far have we sunk since Clinton was President...

On edit:

I will post the transcript as soon as CNN puts it up.

6. Albright is rational and cool headed compared to Condi Rice
and I say this as someone that has issues with Albright.

7. Albright was no great shakes, but she's sober, rational, and
pragmatic. Contrast her to Rice -- lying, dogmatic, ideological, and ineffective

8. Transcript of Albright interview... it rocks!
ALBRIGHT: Well, I think there's nothing wrong with having a goal of ending tyranny in the world, but it is basically not something that can just be accomplished with rhetoric.

And I have been critical of speeches made by the president in which he says that the United States will deliver freedom to the inhabitants of the world, in fact, says that it is our destiny to do so, which is very much the same words that the president -- that God told Moses to do.

So I think it is overreaching, and I'm very concerned about having rhetorical statements like that which put the United States in a position of acting as if we're on a mission from God.

13. Did you also read in that same article that Albright can benchpress
400 pounds?

Maybe we need to ask her to kick condi's ass or something?
