FauxSpin!!! Bush claims credit for No Major U.S. EarthQuakes!

(NOTE: This is NOT a real News Headline or News story, it's just one that I thought up myself! Feel free to add a paragraph or two to enhance the story as you would imagine the WH Spinners would, if they had the balls to try it.)

Bush claims credit for No Major U.S. EarthQuakes while he is pResident

Atlanta (DU FauxNews) With today's major Earthquake in Tonga and last weeks major quake in Eastern Russia, pResident Bush today, pointed out that he has protected the United States from ALL major Earthquakes over the last 5 years.

"We're shaking 'em over there, so that we don't get a shakin' over here," he said. "I'm Series."

Later when asked by the WH Stenographers, sorry Press, if "the president" was actually claiming credit for the lack of strong earthquakes occurring in the U.S. over the last five years, Scott McClellan, soon to be former WH Press secretary stated flatly, "I believe the pResident was very clear on that subject."

"There have been no major earthquakes in the United States for more than five years, and he has been, ahh, pResident for more than five years."

When ask a follow up question, McClellan flatly stated, "I believe I've already answered that question and have no further comment on the subject at this time."

No further questions were taken, so the "press" was dismissed and the "press conference" ended with the wave of McClellan's hand....

(On a more serious note, there was a major quake in Tonga, and I hope reports continue to come in that there were no injuries. ALSO, you might want to take a moment of silence or pray to what ever or whoever you usually pray to, that we DO NOT have a Major Earthquake while * is in the White House. In a major quake, the same sort of incompetence as shown during Katrina could be VERY deadly.)

1. And if there is an earthquake while bush is president
it will no doubt be Bill Clinton's fault.

9. Isn't it incredible
that bush and his supporters have been reduced to a punch line and they don't even realize it.

4. It's true! Bush is responsible for the lack of major U.S. earthquakes!
He gave up eating beans when he took office, thus a huge reduction in gas being emitted which upsets the environment and causes earthquakes.

Of course, he's still full of shit... :eyes:

8. Aren't there a lot of homosexual Eskimos in Alaska? I heard 2 TV
preachers claim there was a cause/effect for earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes. Send Robertson and Falwell up there to convert them.

10. If a big one hits CA...
Falwell, Robertson, and/or Dobson will claim it's because CA is a Dem state.
Watch it happen. Depend on it.

13. During his days in the National Guard, he was in charge of shark patrol
on the Mississippi River. He wasn't really missing, or AWOL. He was performing his duties undercover, er, ... underwater.
