So it appears that Clark hasn't won a state...that's what I'm getting |
|
by reading a lot of the threads. We have folks watching Fox and it sounds good for Edwards, we have people watching CNN and they are talking about Clark dropping out.
Am I getting the mood correct? I just wanna be sure cuz I don't want to get it wrong?

There is no reason to disregard the votes of of 96% of this country based on what 4% of the voters have so far done. It's still too early for anyone to throw in the towel, or declare a winner. I went and cast my vote, this morning, for General Clark here in Arizona. I would like to think it matters. The media is not going to pick the winner. Nor, is New Hampshire and Iowa. We all are. All states. All voters.
Edited for spelling errors.

|
twice in the last 45 min MSNBC has had a little blurb on exit polls and they have both shown Clark ahead of Kerry one poll by 2% and the other by 1%

13. A nice change to hear a Clark Supporter Talking Like That.... |
|
....since, after all, that means that it would be OK to support "unrealistic" candidates like Kucinich or Sharpton or whoever since most states haven't voted yet even after today and it would be silly to predict how the rest of the states are going to vote based on the outcome in a few.
Right?

I'm sure there is some kind of formula campaigns go by to decide when they can't go on. I'm surprised Gephardt pulled out so soon. But, gees, I'd like to think the other 48 states in this country matter as much as the two that have already voted.

I believe no matter how hard they try to sink him, Wes' message gets through. If he quits after tonight, I will not blame him, but the general is in charge of the troops, and HE says when we quit. Until he calls me off the front lines, I'm still in it. Gotta go... phone calls to make ;)

that discuss exit polls from 5 states. Google a search and you find them also. Drudge has them. Kos has them.
Sometimes the conspiracy just isn't there.

Stay at work, watch news later. Let people vote. Stop listening to Drudge. Stop listening to Tucker. Stop getting down on yourselves. Clark is a good man. Let's let things play out. Keep calling. Keep driving people to the polls.

14. early exit polls have a very tight 3 way race in OK |
|
That was the state that Clark is supposed to be able to pull off a win. It'll probably be a late night (plus there are still around 3 and a half hours of the polls being open. People are about to get off work pretty soon here in central time zone.
All I really care about is for Edwards to win in SC by a significant margin (+5%).
Anything else is gravy.

33. My sister got exit polled up in Prescott, AZ |
|
They asked her who she voted for and why - i.e. she agreed with her candidate's (Clark) policies, or he could beat Bush. They did the demographics thing and then asked if she would be disappointed if Kerry got the nomination. I thought that was a strange question. She said the poll had all of the networks' logos on it.
This is the first time I've ever known anybody who got polled for anything, besides which movie they went to see last weekend.

as an enthusiastic, fellow Clark supporter, I hate to say this but your threads are contributing mightily to this premature, possibly false conclusion.
Why don't you just wait until the results are in? :-)

I just got so angry all these posts about what Drudge said. I figured then why not just pronounce the man's campaign dead so I can go to dinner with my co-workers after work instead of home to watch the biased coverage.
Know what I'm sayin
Thanks again...

29. I'm trying to call attention to those who are posting RW news sources |
|
as gospel here.
Some how in the last 5 hours RW news sources have become acceptable. They don't require any commentary of question. They are just accepted as accurate if they meet the particular slant of the poster.
That's fine. But Why not just post then that Clark lost. That is what they are trying to say by posting Drudge. When have we thought Drudge was acceptable?
