7. Really? Kennedy? Must I lose respect for ALL of them before it's over? |
|
Excluding Dean and Clark and Kucinich, of course. My respect for honorable men never wavers.
Dissing Dean has become the flavor du jour.

10. i think this is what endorsing a candidate is supposed to mean |
|
when Ted Kennedy signs onto a campaign, he signs on, especially for his fellow mass senator. i wouldn't dis Kennedy for working as hard for his guy as anyone else is working for theirs.

|
Not that it matters much, I think Iowa proved that union members don't always vote as their leaders tell them to.

You can't expect them to back him forever if he doesn't pull out a win. He had a commanding lead in most of these early primary states only 4 or 5 weeks ago and sank like a rock since then.
Recently pinning his chances on MI and WI, and now polling poorly in those states. Can't put off the inevitable forever.

|
here's hoping losing a few will do the opposite of what is expected and actually benefit.

17. AFSCME and SEIU were only concerned about beating Bush |
|
they had no special preference for Dean himself, they were very open about that when they were choosing between Dean and Gephardt.
This is the leadership I'm talking about.
