tony snow - "courteous fellow, almost impossible to dislike" |
|
The words of William Rusher, a "Distinguished Fellow" of the Claremont Institute for the Study of Statesmanship and Political Philosophy. (Right wing think tank with fancy name.)
Rusher says snow will present a formidable challenge to the press corps, who are overwhelmingly liberal, despise the bush administration, and have delighted in the chance to snarl nasty questions at bush's beleaquered spokesman. The "distinguished statesman" (proven by his diplomatic discourse, no doubt) goes on to say Americans will reject any attempt to cast this thoughtful, well spoken and eminently likeable man as some sort of professional liar, trying to launder the dirty linen of a venal administration.
Gotta love those distinquished political philosophers from Dear old claremont.
No link, claremont offers no website or email in my local paper. They probably have no desire to hear a differing opinion.

|
if our press is doing it's job.... (yeah.. big IF) it should be able to melt down Mr Happy Face Fascist with little effort. Unfortunately a little effort may be too much to expect from the press,

9. The WH press corps liked Scotty personally, too. |
|
Are they going to like Snow more? I doubt it. He's not even a reporter, he's a talking head commentator, and is paid big bucks off the efforts of reporters who actually get news every once in a while, whether Snow understands what the reporters are saying or not.

I've listened to Snow as he subbed for Rush and I disliked him plenty.
He may have a good radio voice but the smarminess and smug dismissals of mythical "liberals" was even more sickening than pigboy himself, if that's possible.

Wow, how long has it been since the illustrious announcement that FOX Superhero Tony Snow is to take over for Scotty? Yet, where is he?!?
Gee, I think they may be having buyer's remorse to include the cancellation of daily televised Press Briefings. What's up with that?

|
damn hot on getting McClellan OUT OF this position? I'm beginning to believe that it may be Scotty that initiated the break. "Get me out of this frigging' nut-house before I start believe this shit!"
I fear that we'll never know for sure? Especially since this is the most smarmy and secretive Executive Branch in the history of The United States of America. :(
