Elizabeth Dole; "Our worst fears realized if Dems take Senate".

Elizabeth Dole sent out an urgent fundraising letter to Republicans the other day, warning of "dire consequences", if Democrats retake control of the Senate in 2006.

Our worst fears will be realized if Democrats take control of the Senate. This is what will happen if they do. They will increase your taxes, call for endless investigations, congressional censure, and maybe impeachment of President Bush. They will put the war on terror on the "back burner", and quite possibly could take the White House in 2008.

She also added that she needs immediate financial help to prevent the most liberal Democratic party in history from seizing the Senate.

All I can say is, I hope it happens!!!
