So what DO Schweitzer and Sharpton have in common? |
I am trying to get my arms around a "Democratic Vision" or whatever you want to call it. I'd like to know in what direction the inertia will be when we start making laws next year. What's on the agenda, after alot of indictments? Dems are either already in office or will be making strong challenges in places like Virginia and Montana. How do we get Tester and Webb on a common trajectory with Sanders and Boxer?

1. For one thing, point to Schweitzer as an example of who can WIN |
and how he did it. The west is ready to swing to the progressives if we can find any to swing to.
Conservatism has run its course and people have been betrayed by it.

3. 60 Minutes did a segment |
on Schweitzer a few weeks ago. He seemed very genuine and honest. Very big on the environment. He didna't sound like he had any presidential aspirations, but who knows what a couple of years will bring.
