Racist fuck Glenn Beck invites you to guess his show's cancellation date
Beck anticipates show's cancellation -- even before it airs

Even before the May 8 debut of his one-hour prime-time talk show on CNN Headline News, right-wing radio host Glenn Beck is http://www.glennbeck.com/news/04262006.shtml">inviting visitors to his website to guess the "exact date" of the show's demise. Those who go to Glennbeck.com and click on the link "When Will the TV Show Get Cancelled" are given the opportunity to submit their prediction.

As Media Matters for America has noted, following reports in January of CNN's decision to hire Beck -- in spite of Beck's history of outrageous, bigoted, and offensive comments -- he has provided the cable network with many reasons to reconsider its decision. Given that, since the news of Beck's hiring, he has referred to Cindy Sheehan as a "pretty big prostitute," former President Jimmy Carter as a "waste of skin," and Mexico as a country "run by nothing but criminals," Media Matters has raised the question: What would it take to have CNN cancel his contract?

Now, Beck appears to think such reconsideration might be imminent

Glenn Beck staffers each have their own thoughts on how long the TV show will last (see the April issue of Fusion for the dire predictions). Now we want to hear from you! Use this page to predict the exact date that you think the TV show will be cancelled. This is not a contest, and there are absolutely no prizes, because when --er, sorry, that's if the show is cancelled, we won't have any money for prizes. Your email address will not be used for spam or unsolicited email, however we do reserve the right to publicly ridicule you if your prediction turns out to be incorrect. If your prediction turns out to be correct then you can reserve the right to ridicule us.

10. Yes, it's worse than signing Bill "The Bookie of Virtue" Bennett

on CNN's team. Yet, not as disgustingly putrid as FOX signing on that Criminal - Oliver North - to "War stories." I know Marines, active duty, former and retired who consider him a disgrace to the memory of all the honorable men (and women) who have worn the USMC Uniform. "Semper Fi" has no meaning to that smarmy and opportunistic bastard, one each Oliver North. :puke: Whereas Glen Beck is a racist bigot (no, I don't take that lightly at all), North broke with his oath to defend The Constitution of the United States. :( But we can't expect anything truly upstanding and moral from FOX, The Chickenhawk's Kool-aid Channel, all propaganda (PsyOps, distraction, and disinformation) all of the time!

2. I'm tired of angry white men: Imus, Stern, Limbaugh, Bush, etc.
I'm quite fond of white men as a group, but this routine is getting tiring.

7. They are losers
they were born into the most privileged group in the history of the world, and all they can do is claim they are being victimized by other groups who are less powerful.

3. Tedious self publicity.
Beck thinks he can drum up a groundswell of public support by this tactic. He's no doubt expecting a hoard of outraged 'free speech' advocates to storm the gates of CNN, demanding that he be given a lifetime contract.

Of course, only one thing would make CNN cancel his show: poor ratings. As long as enough mouth-breathing freepers and assorted wingnut riffraff watch this shit, he'll stay on the air.

6. Looks like another Hack.
They should have learned their lesson with Tucker Carlson...and accept they are not going to get an O'Reilly. The reasons for this are that O'Reilly is a truly original, one of a kind authentic right-wing asshole, not a copy put up for ratings. If CNN wants to see somebody with those kind of ratings, they need an all original, angry hardcore Bush hater, to rave about gas prices and everything else.

11. I have to admit, it's a good idea.

While I know nothing about Beck, and from this article he sounds like a nasty piece of work, I must admit I think that asking the audience to guess the date of cancellation is a clever and witty idea. One should always give the devil his due.
