(scoop) Bush to announce lining southern border with gators

In an unexpected and unprecedented policy move President Bush will announce his plans to amass alligators now being harvested in the Florida urban sprawl and deploy them along the 7,000 mile US/Mexican border.

Bush will announce his plans to retrain National Guard troops to be gator handlers and deploy them with the gators along the Rio Grande river as well as throughout the deserts of Arizona and the NEW Mexico. Due to low personnel numbers some Guardsmen may be individually responsible for up to 15 gators. White House sources confirmed this information but were not sure how much training the Guard components would received before being sent into the desert with a truckload of "border protectors". The logistics of this operation are reportedly still being working out.
