Must see these great graphs at PFOAC(The Project f/t Old American Century)
Here are some of my favorites from the graph page a The Project for the Old American Century:

Plus many more.

Also, here's another interesting page, make sure you scroll down to see the more interesting maps:

1. The jobs figures are worse than the chart shows
If you subtract out the jobs created by * in the Military Industrial Complex Bush could be almost at the same level as when he came into office.

2. Agreed, and many of these carts are a bit old...
...but I like that so many are all at one place.

I've heard that almost all of the job created have been because of all the military spending.

My favorite is the Bush Cabal bragging about 5.5 Million jobs created, but that's still about 18 Million short of the break even mark. Where I get that figure is that, back in the run up to the 2004 election, one of the main Democratic talking point was that the economy needed to create about 300,000 new jobs just to keep up with the number of new job seekers entering the job market.

This "great economy" has almost never done that since 2001. I'm not sure, but it might even need more to recover from all the jobs that were lost during 2001-2003 recession.
